Hytherograph LB-704

DESCRIPTION

Thermometer - hygrometer LB-701M with a reading panel LB-704 is designed for air temperature and humidity measurement. It is a portable device, powered from a battery or from an outside power supply.

The device is composed of two major parts: hytherograph LB-701M (made in a form of a metal measurement probe with an attachment cable ended with a pin RJ-11) and a reading panel LB-704. Both parts are connected by a 1,5 m cable.

The measurement probe LB-701M consists of: a thin layer temperature sensor Pt-1000, thin layer capacitive relative humidity sensor, electronic processing systems and a system of programmed non volatile memory, where all individual probe characteristic are stored as well as identification and technical data.

The reading panel receives signals that had been already processed, which include coded information concerning temperature and relative humidity values. It allows on changeable use of different reading panels with the same hytherograph LB-701M without any influence on the measurement results.

The microprocessor from the device's reading panel, basing on the information from the probe (processed measurement signals and read calibration characteristics) computes the following values such as: relative humidity, temperature and dew point temperature. Hytherograph is equipped with five button membrane keyboard used for switching on and choosing a displayed measured parameter (relative humidity, temperature and dew point). When battery powered, the device works in an energy saving work mode: after switching on the measurement results are analyzed. Then the stable results are signaled, the last result is stored and the measurement process is stopped. When not operated for more than three minutes the devices is switched off automatically. When the hytherograph is powered from an outside power supply - constant form of measurement is realized.

Hytherograph LB-701M has obtained a certificate of  type RP T 95 76 issued by the President of the Main Measurement Office in Warsaw.

Hytherograph LB-701M also has a positive expertise from The Central Army Meteorology Office in Zielonka (no. 71 dated 05.05.1995), performed basing on the method of legalizing hygrometers and hygrographs.

Each hytherograph, upon a special order, can have an individual calibration certificate from the LAB-EL Calibration Laboratory or from the Central Army Meteorology Office in Zielonka.

The calibration procedures of the hytherograph LB-701M with a panel LB-704 are available for their recipients and are an element of computer stations used for calibration of those hytherographs. The stations among others belong to: the Central Measurement Office in Warsaw, the Central Army Meteorology Office in Warszawa and the LAB-EL Calibration Laboratory.

Hytherographs LB-701M with the panels LB-704 have been used as a part of the drying station equipment set used for storing equipment in the Polish Army for many years.
