Road meteorological station LB-770 is designed for monitoring of the
chosen climate parameters on the roads and highways. The station is
characterized by an adjustable equipment with the sensors that depend
on the customer's expectations, and because of that it can be used in
various ways, for i.e.:
- monitoring of the eco-climate conditions,
- monitoring of the road traffic intensity and a road passable
status,
- pollution monitoring, atmosphere and water pollution measurement,
- water level measurement in the rivers and water reservoirs,
- notifying the city workers and rescue teams.
The station consists of a recorder LB-741
to which any set of the measurement sensors can be attached. Basic
station equipment includes:
- wind speed and direction meter LB-746,
- humidity and air temperature meter LB-710R
in a mini meteorological case,
- rain gauge ARG100,
- barometer LB-716.
Additional station equipment includes:
- balance meter (for differences measurement between an incident
and a reflected heat radiation), i.e. LB-900
with an outside sensor NR LITE,
- thermometers (for temperature measurement at various heights
above ground, at ground surface and under – a road surface), i.e. LB-711,
- conductometer (for measurement of road surface humidity
parameters) i.e.,
- information light tables,
- other devices according to the client expectations.
The specific meteorological parameters are introduced in the
leaflets describing the specific devices. An example station
installation is introduced on the pictures.
The measurement data collected by the sensors is stored in a
computer memory (logger) and is sent to a supervisory station (center)
using radio transmission i.e. using radio GSM
network.
