Hytherograph (thermometer and humidity meter)
with a reading panel LB-705 (equipped with a an internal memory
registering the measurement
results) is most commonly used for climate supervision in one point.
Hytherograph LB-701 has a small size plastic cylinder casing and
because of it can be easily placed in the area controlled. It can be
i.e. hanged above a meteorological post in a laboratory or placed in a
climate chamber. Hytherograph is connected to the reading panel LB-705
by a cable 1 meter long. The length of the cable can be extended up to
15 meters without
effecting the measurement accuracy because of the digital transmission
between the hytherograph LB-701 an the attached to it reading panel.
The reading panel is adapted to be hanged on the on the wall (i.e. laboratory, climate chamber). Because of a big easy to read LCD screens the measurement results can be seen from a long distance.
In case when, the regulation functions are required at the
measurement spot one should use a hytherograph
with a control reading panel LB-725.
The reading panel LB-705 (or a control reading panel LB-725) an be attached to any PC computer using its RS-232 (COM) port. The device is equipped with adequate software (for DOS and Windows 95/98 systems) allowing on current measurement monitoring as well as on reading of the measurement history from the device's memory (the following panels have memories LB-705PR i LB-725). The cable provided along with the device which connects it to a computer port RS-232 is typically 2 meters long and can be extended to approximately 20 meters. With greater distances (up to 200 meters) a separator series LB-300 should be used additionally. Only a hytherograph LB-701 (which can be easily disconnected from the reading panel) is passed along to a laboratory for calibration. In case when, the temperature measurement is required (without humidity) a probe LB-701T can be used for cooperation with the mentioned above panels. The probe is available in two versions: for the measurement of air temperature or for the measurement for various media according to the clinent's expectations.
Hytherographs (or thermometers) can be placed quite far away from
the concentrator LB-731. They are connected to it using two conductors
of a cable of any type. However it is important that the loop’s
resistance of the connecting cables is lower than 100 ohm. In practice
it means that when using a telephone cable (i.e. type YTKSY-1x2x0,5)
the distance between a hytherograph and a concentrator LB-731 can
amount up to 500 m. When a bigger distance is required cables of wider
conductor of a cable diameter are used.

The devices mentioned above create a base for system construction and their configuration was introduced in the description of the Measurement system based on the concentrator LB-731. Sample implementation was introduced in the description of the Warehouse System Monitoring (called later SMM), which supervises air temperature (and eventually humidity) in the monitored spaces and notifies automatically a user about any possible abnormalities. It is performed individually from the actual user’s place of stay – by a SMS (mobile phone) or via e-mail. The system also allows on storing information about the sensor status and measurement in database files to be read and processed later. The system can serve 16 concentrators LB-731 and each can be attached to 16 sensors LB-710 (it is possible to control 256 locations at the same time).
Only hytherographs LB-701 (easily disconnected from the reading panels) and hytherographs LB-710 are passed to a laboratory for calibration.

The converter LB-486P is placed in a room of a person responsible for
climate supervision usually near a PC computer which is used for
reading the current measurement results and the measurement result
history from the system (converter does not have its own screen
displaying the measurement results). Hytheropgraphs are placed in the
controlled rooms. Various hytheropgraph versions are used depending on
the client’s needs just as it was introduced in the chapter:

Additionally there is a possibility of attaching a converter LB-486 to a set of various measurement devices that work using a digital current loop (in abbreviation CCP such as LB-705, LB-710, LB-710T, LB-711, LB-715, LB-716, LB-716D, LB-720, LB-720C, LB-724, LB-725, LB-746) and a rain-gauge (i.e. ARG-100) what allows on creating measurement device configurations that are adequate to a user’s needs.

In many cases air pressure measurement and registry of is required. In case of one port control a laboratory barometer LB-750 can be used. In case of small and big systems one can use a barometer LB-750 or its lower cost version LB-716. The measurement results can be monitored using a converter LB-486 or a concentrator LB-731. In case when the measurement of three parameters (air pressure, humidity and temperature) is required at the same time one can use a barometer hytherograph LB-701/LB-702B or LB-715.
